Combining storytelling, rockin’ music and soaring vocals, this female trio will lift you and your kids out of your seats and take you on an imaginary trip with a magical suitcase. The Biddies’ pop-cabaret style, often accompanied by drums, bass, ukulele and/or piano, will guide you through the city’s subway, the safari in Africa or a star-lit boat ride. Free. All ages.

Hi All!
We are playing a lot this week as we get close to finishing out our 2011-2012 season - looking forward to a summer of goofing off in between a handful of kids shows.
HEY GROWN-UPS!
1) If you are in town today, we are also performing a free show at Bellevue Hospital in the East 20s via Carnegie Hall’s Musical Connections Program. This show is geared towards seniors, but all are welcome. The public performance will be in the Atrium at 1:00 pm. Afterwards we will be traipsing off to do some ward visits with our handy acoustic instruments.
2) We are playing THIS SUNDAY at ROCKWOOD MUSIC HALL in Manhattan - right at rosé time! Please come joins us. We haven’t played there is ages and are super excited to be appearing on their lovely little stage again.

Last night was the culminating concert of a 6 month music and composition workshop at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining. I was lucky enough to be the singer in the house band. Working with the inmates surprised me in just about every possible way. Here’s hoping I can go back next year!
